Child Safety

UANI is committed to protecting children and maintaining a platform exclusively for adults.

Zero Tolerance for Minors

UANI is an adult-only platform for users 18 years and older. We have a zero-tolerance policy for any content or activity involving minors.

  • Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account
  • We verify the age and identity of all users during registration
  • Any account found to belong to a minor is immediately and permanently banned
  • We do not knowingly collect or maintain information from persons under 18

Age Verification

To ensure our platform remains adults-only, we implement strict age verification measures:

  • Government-issued ID verification during account creation
  • Automated age detection and facial recognition technology
  • Manual review of suspicious accounts
  • Regular audits and monitoring for underage users

Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination and legal action:

  • Any content depicting, soliciting, or promoting child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
  • Grooming or attempting to contact minors
  • Sharing, requesting, or discussing child exploitation content
  • Any content sexualizing or endangering minors

Report Immediately: If you encounter any content involving minors or child exploitation, report it immediately through the in-app reporting feature or email us at safety@uani.app.

Our Response to Violations

When we become aware of content or accounts involving minors, we take immediate action:

  • Immediate Account Termination: The offending account is permanently banned within minutes
  • Content Removal: All associated content is immediately deleted from our servers
  • Law Enforcement Reporting: We report all cases to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and local law enforcement
  • Preservation of Evidence: We preserve all relevant data for law enforcement investigation
  • IP and Device Ban: We prevent the user from creating new accounts

Cooperation with Law Enforcement

UANI fully cooperates with law enforcement agencies investigating child exploitation:

  • We comply with all lawful requests for information
  • We work with organizations like NCMEC and the Internet Watch Foundation
  • We implement industry-standard hash-matching technology to detect known CSAM
  • We participate in cross-industry efforts to combat child exploitation online

Education and Prevention

We believe in proactive prevention through education:

  • Clear age requirements displayed during registration
  • In-app reminders about our adults-only policy
  • Staff training on identifying and responding to child safety concerns
  • Regular security audits and improvements to our verification systems
